Nvidia (GeForce 9500 GS), video card is intermittent sound terrible (like a wire stuck in the spokes of a bicycle wheel). HP is not willing to change the map, and according to them, since the sound does not "impair the ability of computers to do their job, the question is not covered under warranty.
After 45 minutes of discussion with the horrible (and yes, based in the United States) rep., I just gave up. Considered by writing to the CEO (or whoever wants to hear from HP, but then abandoned as the realization of the futility and waste more time!)
The PC itself is not bad, very fast, but has the annoying habit of Vista. I also had problems running my old Dell 3-in-1 printer with this car, like Dell is not the printer / scanner software for Vista 64-bit. So now, my scanner stopped working. Fortunately, I managed to get the printer for at least "Print".
I wonder what Apple has done such a situation. I'm leaning heavily towards Apple for my next PC / laptop.
