I bought this computer from Amazon, and I could never work on the computer. Courses every diagnostic on the computer that I could. The machine is extremely quiet and seemed to run like a Bat Out of Hell. But I could not boot Windows from the PC. I also have a complete reinstallation of Windows works and does not. Now I have to restore the computer to the UPS store to take and pay for the shipment of Amazon does the computer back and give me my money back.

I fully agree with the reviewer * * Straw, who recommends this area as well. It is much lighter than my old computer, and still feel strong and well built. I say this because some of the newer computers and look poor, as if it could be passed over a feather …… Not with this. It does not get hot and bothered one.

My partner absolutely hates computers. I could never get anywhere near one, until the Eee PC Top. Touch interface and sleek design made it easily to a new person to the concept of "computer as a friend." The big, friendly icons on the screen at the top is not easy threatening and allow him to find exactly what you want with ease. Now he is streaming radio stations, use Skype with her daughter and grandchildren, and send e-mail with abandon. I think it would be a great computer for a lot of people, but is especially useful for a first computer for those who have resisted the electronic age.

I bought this computer to use as a DAW, produce and record my music. This is not a good computer for this purpose. Running check DPC latency, spikes were consistently high, almost always in red. This means that there are some conflicts with the devices and / or processes triggering "cause, pop, and breaks sound. This is probably, in large part because of Vista, then I would beat the computer. It's great for the most part. But I do not recommend it as a DAW, due to latency issues.

I bought one of these for my daughter and was so impressed I bought a replacement for my father on Father's Day, 10 years HP. Fa surf without problems or for streaming video. The only thing is to get used to something, the multi-fan level (Energy Star) The device can typically runs extremely quiet, but with widespread use, turn the fan speed of the fan leaf and then down again after about 30 seconds. Overall, great unit for the price!
