| Review by A. Bates (Santa Barbara CA) 2010-01-23 He had the right components and specific to my needs, in effect, a machine for general use for work on Stock Exchanges and some work in Photoshop. Satisfiable Rating (2/10)
Delivery 2 days gave a defective product. It took several weeks and several e-mail for replacement. Then I found the new version on the website right after getting the replacement.
This means that cost me a couple of weeks to obsolete product, even though I used to get 2 days of delivery. What an awful experience.

Satisfiable Rating (10/10)
In my opinion, this machine has many positives and very few negatives. Positive: The price is cheap, the car is quiet, not a Phenom II, but is a phenomenon. Very nice quad-core product. It has 8 GB of memory more than enough to handle a view. (I'm testing the Windows 7 and I will not need on this machine.) Even the keyboard is better than most of the budget (the software not to buy cars off do it yourself). I combed with Amazon for just under one in 1000, and am pleased to say this tops the rest. Actually I can not think of a hardware feature that the price of value of more than 1000. Maybe a faster processor, though AMD is not a lot of them.
Growing up I often thought to myself, "If I only get paid to play video games." Not only do I spend much too much time playing video games, but I was really good. I was one of those guys that could beat all others on the block to play no matter what game we are. But in the back of my head, as I sent opponent after opponent, I asked myself: "But what is all this worth?"
Thousands of dollars, I'm glad to say!

Nvidia (GeForce 9500 GS), video card is intermittent sound terrible (like a wire stuck in the spokes of a bicycle wheel). HP is not willing to change the map, and according to them, since the sound does not "impair the ability of computers to do their job, the question is not covered under warranty.
After 45 minutes of discussion with the horrible (and yes, based in the United States) rep., I just gave up. Considered by writing to the CEO (or whoever wants to hear from HP, but then abandoned as the realization of the futility and waste more time!)
